Property Policies for a Great Stay: How We Keep Things Safe & Fun!
Pets
Only certified service dogs are allowed on the premises, and they must be leashed at all times.
Service dogs cannot be left unattended, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.
If any non-service dogs are brought onto the property, caretakers reserve the right to require
that the dog be boarded for the remainder of your stay.
Golf Cart Use
- Golf carts must be checked out at the front office before use.
- Only licensed drivers are allowed to operate golf carts.
Drivers must be 16 or older. If an unlicensed or underage driver is observed driving, your golf cart privileges will be revoked.
- Golf carts are for use on mowed trails only and should be operated safely at all times.
- Any mechanical or other issues must be reported to the front office immediately.
- Guests will be financially responsible for any damage.
- (All carts are gas powered)
- Off-road vehicles of any kind are not permitted.
Boat/Pontoon Use
- Boats must be signed out at the front office.
- Usage is limited to 2 hours unless additional time is approved.
- No outside boats, rafts, or kayaks are allowed.
- Only individuals 21 and older may operate the pontoon boat. If you’re unfamiliar with operating a boat, we’re happy to provide instruction.
- Maintain at least 50 feet from the shore to avoid motor damage.
- All boats must have a USCG-approved life vest on board, and children 16 and under must wear a life vest at all times while on the water.
- Please remove all garbage and personal belongings after using any watercraft.
Firearms & Hunting
Firearms are not allowed on the property.
Hunting is prohibited.
Alcohol
No one under 21 is allowed to possess alcohol.
Guests 21 and over who possess or consume alcohol must provide valid ID and proof of age if requested.
Property & Damage
Report any damaged, broken, or malfunctioning property to the office immediately.
Guests may be financially responsible for any damages to Wilwin Lodge property.
Smoking
Smoking, vaping, and the use of recreational drugs is not allowed inside any building on Wilwin property.
Campfires
Campfires are permitted when no burn ban is in effect. Fires must be contained within designated fire rings and never left unattended. Fire rings and firewood are available at various locations throughout the property.
Recreational Hall:
The pool table, foosball, table hockey, shuffleboard, baby grand piano, and guitar in the Rec. Hall are reserved for guests 16 years and older.
Swimming
Swim at your own risk—no lifeguards are on duty.
Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at ALL times.
Fishing
All fishing is catch-and-release only.
Grill Use
Grills must be cleaned after each use.
